Running from October 16-22, the EPT Cyprus Main Event has two starting flights, with the final table playing down to a winner on October 22.
Other key events to be on the lookout for include the EPT Super High Roller which costs $50,000 to enter and takes place from October 15-17. A $10,300 Mystery Bounty, scheduled for October 11-12 is also among the attractions, so is the EUREA Main Event, a multi-flight tournament that features a $1,100 buy-in and runs from October 12-16.
The line-up also includes exclusive tournaments, such as a $330 Ladies Event (October 15) and a $550 Seniors’ event (October 19).
The venue will host qualifiers for the bigger events for as low as $250. Players may qualify for the key tournaments for a more affordable price via online satellites on PokerStars which are available for as little as $2. On top of that, seats are also up for grabs via the operator’s new Power Path promo, starting at just $0.50.
The EPT, which is now in its 19th year, heads to Cyprus following a hugely successful stop in Barcelona where the Main Event attracted one of the biggest fields in the tour’s history. The tournament, won by Simon Wiciak for €1,134,375, attracted 2,120 runners, the second-largest EPT Main Event field.
